For the past 5 years our very own $Moonbeam13 has been involved in supporting and raising money for The Weekend To End Breast Cancer event in Toronto.

She has done this in a fairly quiet and discreet way so we felt it was time to shed a bit more light on what exactly she does for this great cause.

To give a bit of background, in the past 4 years this organization has raised over 60 million dollars in donations and through this has made some landmark strides in advancing the research on breast cancer, which claims the lives of close to 50,000 women a year and about a quarter million women diagnosed per year.

New dAmnColors Development Model

First things first: fixed a bug regarding a MySQL/PHP regression issue.

Now for the important part: dAmnColors is now open-source software under the GPL. For source access see this page. To contribute a patch to the project e-mail me at nlum [at] nol888 [dot] com (format doesn't matter, unified diff encouraged) or send a unified diff via note or other medium.

This allows me to focus more on my schoolwork and other core issues, while still remaining up-to-date on matters such as deviantART skin changes breaking the system, and allows the code to be peer-review for better reliability and yadda yadda yadda. (I wrote dAmnColors in the 8th grade so expect some things to make you cringe.)
